Wow. Rome. What a city. Hands down, the Eternal City is the coolest place I have ever been. Everywhere you turn, there is something that makes your jaw drop. For anyone who likes history, has ever thought about liking history, or knows someone who might like history...you must come to Rome. In fact, Rome should be a mandatory visit for every living human being. If you say you can't afford a ticket, suck it up and swim. It's only the Atlantic, be a trooper. I am pretty sure that if you ever come to Rome and say you don't like it...we won't be able to be friends anymore.
Anyway, yesterday Chiara and I left Rome for Bologna pretty content that we had seen ALL of Rome in only 3 days; however, we were a little disheartened that we had no feeling in our legs from our knees down. Bologna is quite a city itself, and on the train ride I got to see some incredible countryside, and a lot of wineries (Keaton, if you're at all serious about doing something with vino, this is the place to do it). It is seriously ridiculous how friendly Italianos are. I'm now putting "learning Italian" on my to-do list so that I can come back and actually understand what the people are saying.
Tomorrow, Chiara and I are headed out to Florence, and then after a few days... to Venice. Tonight, we are going to the Riviera, which should be pretty awesome.
Well, that about does it. For those interested, pictures will be up soon.
